Адольф Эйхман — офицер СС, который спланировал и организовал массовое истребление еврейского населения Европы в период правления Гитлера в Германии. После войны скрывался в Латинской Америке, был выслежен, схвачен и доставлен в Израиль группой израильского спецназа под командованием Питера Малкина. По приговору суда был повешен в 1962 г.

Штурмовыми отрядами (Sturmabteilung; SA) назывались военизированные формирования нацистской партии, главной целью которых было осуществление социалистической революции в Германии. Комплектовались на добровольной основе из ветеранов Первой мировой войны, безработных и всех тех, кто разделял взгляды нацистов. Со временем превратились в мощную силу, насчитывая в своих рядах до четырех с половиной миллионов человек.
