«Saint Joseph, father and guardian of virgins, into whose faithful keeping were entrusted lnnocency itself, l pray and beseech thee through Jesus and Mary, the Virgin of virgins, l pray and beseech thee through Jesus and Mary to intercede on my behalf to God the Father. May l go about my work with faithfulness, honesty, and gladness of heart, helping me to take your example to provide for those who depend upon me? Keep me from all uncleanliness, and to grant that my mind be untainted, my heart pure and my body chaste; help me to serve our Lord Jesus on all daily works. Amen».

Присутствующие поднимают руки к небу и хором произносят слова (их нужно заранее выучить или читать по бумаге):

«O Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that l may ever invoke Thy must powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying, O Purest Mary, O Sweetest Mary, let Thy name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, O Blessed Lady, to help me whenever l call on Thee, for, in all my needs, in all my temptations l shall never cease to call on Thee, ever repeating Thy sacred name, Mary, Mary. O what consolation, whet sweetness, what sweetness, what confidence, what emotion fills my soul when l pronounce Thy sacred name, or even only think of Thee I thank God for having given Thee, for name. But l will not be content with merely pronouncing Thy name; let my love for Thee prompt me ever to hail Thee, Mother of Perpetual Help Amen».

Жрец берет из рук ассистента сосуд с морской солью (200 г), подходит к ванне и торжественно высыпает ее в воду. Высыпание соли сопровождается словами:

«O what consolation, whet sweetness, what sweetness, what confidence, what emotion fills my soul when l pronounce Thy sacred name, or even only think of Thee I thank God for having given Thee, for name. But l will not be content with merely pronouncing Thy name; let my love for Thee prompt me ever to hail Thee, Mother of Perpetual Help Amen».

«May l go about my work with faithfulness, honesty, and gladness of heart, helping me to take your example to provide for those who depend upon me. Keep me from all uncleanliness, and to grant that my mind be untainted, my heart pure and my body chaste; help me to serve our Lord Jesus on all daily works. Amen».
