Вероятно, некоторым читателям будет сложно признать, что лишь наше отношение к этому как к парадоксу делает его таковым. И в заключение я хотела бы сказать две вещи. Первая из них заключается в том, что познание — начало мудрости; чтобы работать с пациентами, необходимо опираться на доказательства, а не на предположения. Вторая связана с властью, положением матерей. Мои изыскания не принижают материнство, а как раз наоборот. И хотя это очевидно, стоит отдельно подчеркнуть, что клинические данные подтверждают максиму: «Не стоит недооценивать власть матери».
